WCI PE100

WCI PE100 Compound is a pressure pipe grade designed for water and gas distribution systems. It provides high hydrostatic strength, excellent chemical resistance, and long service life, making it the standard choice for global infrastructure projects.

PE100 Compound is a special grade of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) used for the production of high-pressure water, gas and sewage pipes. This type of compound consists of polyethylene resin with additives such as light and heat stabilizers, carbon black or pigment and antioxidants.

Features of PE100 Compound

High resistance to crack growth

This is the most important feature of PE100. This material has a very high resistance to environmental stresses and the formation of microcracks (stress cracking), which can cause leaks or pipe breakage in the long term.

Higher operating pressure tolerance

Due to its density and more compact molecular structure, pipes made from PE100 can withstand higher operating pressures (Pressure Rating) at the same wall thickness than older generations.
