Grade
WCI PEX 1540

WCI PEX 1540 is a grafted polyethylene grade with maleic anhydride functionalization, designed for use in multilayer and hot-water pipe systems. It ensures excellent adhesion in PEX-AL-PEX structures, along with superior chemical and thermal resistance.

PEX (Crosslinked Polyethylene) is a type of engineering polymer that is obtained from ordinary polyethylene by creating crosslinks between molecular chains, and this network structure significantly increases its thermal resistance, mechanical strength, flexibility, and durability.

PEX (Crosslinked Polyethylene) Features

Become more resistant to high heat

Retain flexibility

Be more resistant to cracking and pressure
